COMPLAINT FORM
& PROCEDURE
Rules ... we may not like them but we all have to live by them. The Board receives complaints from time to time about a home that is not in compliance with the rules. In the spirit of fairness and transparency for all, the 2022-2023 Board created a process for reporting violations and following through to resolution. We hope this will be helpful to our community. See the link for the Form and Procedure below.

QUESTIONS
1. How do I know what is and what is not allowed in Eagle Trace?
Download the handout of Common Violations, this will give you a good overview. For complete documents of the Code of Regulations and Declaration of Restrictions see the links in the middle of the page. Also, you can contact the HOA Board any time with questions, we are happy to help! Email is the fastest way to reach us.

2. I see a violation in the neighborhood and I think something should be done about it, what should I do?
Download the Violation Complaint Procedure and Violation Complaint Form on the Left of this page and follow the instructions to make your report to the HOA Board. It is the obligation of the Board per the Declaration of Restrictions and Code of Regulations to follow through with the resolution of violations.

3. I disagree with the HOA rules, is there anything I can do about it?
Homeowners in Eagle Trace are bound by the rules of the Declaration of Restrictions and Code of Regulations. The rules in these documents can only be changed by a 66-2/3 YES vote of the entire neighborhood of 196 homeowners. Any neighbor or neighborhood committee can initiate a vote and bring the results to the Board to request a change. This begins the process that is then handed over to an attorney to change and file the revised legal documents.
